We Do Good – We Feel Good… Why we LOVE giving back

One thing we love best about our company is that we have been blessed with the ability to give back to the community that supports us. More than anything we love making a difference in the community and celebrating the life of those who have survived cancer by participating and donating in several charity event.  Every year in October we walk for a cure with the American Cancer Society "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" and " Light the Night Walk".

Why Do We Walk?

People ask me why I walk. Thankfully my immediate family has escaped this disease that claims a life every 13 minutes, but so many people important to me have been affected. I am humbled and saddened by some of the stories I've heard of women, children and men dying too young from cancer.

We walk because we know that we will make a difference. We know that by raising funds and walking for charity will help the ACS continue to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

How do they do it? Every day, the ACS help people stay well by helping them take steps to reduce their risk of cancer by early detection and preventative screenings. Helping people get well with information, day-to-day help, and emotional support to guide them through every step of their cancer experience; by finding cures and promising new treatments through funding and conducting research; and by fighting back by working with lawmakers to help get access to FREE screenings and care.

We believe that one day, cancer will never steal another year from any one's life and we will live in a world with less cancer and more birthdays. That's why we're walking. Not only is this our opportunity to join the community to fight back against cancer, but it is also a way to inspire hope by raising funds and awareness to help those facing this disease.

Together, we can beat cancer.  Join us in the fight.  To make a donations or view our photos visit our website www.gdotscreations.net
